Chengdu Guibao Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 1998, specializing in the R&D and production of silicone sealant and silicone gasket. GB was listed on the Growth Enterprise Market in 2009. Currently, GB has 6 subsidiaries and 4 branches. GB factories cover more than 260,000 square meters with the annual production capacity of 80,000 tons.
This is GB technical center. It is China National Technical Center and China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS)accredited testing laboratory. GB invested around 6millionUSD for this center. Now GB has 5 seats on China Standardization Technical Committee. A team of more than 160 technical persons here including 10 Doctors, 35 masters are devoted to the R&D, application technology, production technology and quality assurance. GB has participated in establishing more than 40 international, national and industry standards, obtained more than 60 patents including 34 invention patents.
Here GB has more than 300 sets cutting edge testing and research facilities, able to test standard properties but also to imitate complicated environment such as salt corrosion, high temperature, high humidity, fire resistance, as well as conduct advanced technology research.
GB has set up a sales team and technical service team special for overseas. Now GB are mainly exporting to the Middle East, Asia and some European countries such as Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Iran, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, India, and Thailand etc. GB target is to be a prestigious global silicone brand.

GB sealants are widely applied to curtain wall, insulating glass, window and door, indoor decoration, pavement and runway of airport, solar modules, and automotive light. For construction applications, beside traditional structural glazing, weather seal, primary and secondary seal, GB also developed some high performance special sealants with invention technology, including non-staining sealant for porous materials, fire resistance sealant which can withstand 1000℃ for 3 hours, pavement sealant for concrete joints with low modulus and excellent extension and compression recovery (+100/-50 percent of original joint width).
