Silicone is an amazing material that offers countless advantages compared to standard organic polymer materials. It is our job here at Chengdu GB Science and Technology to recognize those advantages and put them into practice. Established in 1998, we have grown into a specialized manufacturer of organic silicone sealants and silicone rubber strips. Our operations have since expanded and we now have 6 subsidiaries and 4 branches, producing 80,000 tons of our silicone products each year. In 2009, we were listed on China’s Growth Enterprise Market as we demonstrated outstanding performance in manufacturing.
The products manufactured by GB are widely used in curtain walls, insulating glass, energy-saving doors and windows, interior decoration, roads and bridges and many other applications. These silicone products are sold to all areas of China as well as exported to Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and many other regions of the world.
GB thrives on innovation and we are able to do this thanks to a large number of our industry-leading technical experts along with well-known consultants. This research and development program affords us incredible opportunities to create new and improved silicone products in order to make them last longer and stand up to tougher environments. 5 members of our R&D team are members of the National Standardization Technical Committee. They have drafted 40 international standards, national standards and industry standards. Our company possesses 61 national patents, including 32 national invention patents.
Our company has come to be known for its quality products and we have been certified by 3 separate systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. We are also certified by other domestic and foreign authorities, such as ISO/ TS16949, CNAS, UL, TUV, SGS, CE, CECC, etc.
